Hey Devil,

I think Playland needs an upgrade. It's feeling its..... whatcha call it.... age. It's been there forever and the rides (though some are new) needs to be more exciting, I feel.

I went there last year with Lise Jr. The sad part was most of the rides were not for her because of the height restriction. Oh well. We may skip this year and go next so the other one doesn't feel too left out.

The food vendors at the Playland (and more so during PNE) charges outrageous prices! I can't believe how much you had to pay for a measly ice cream or bag of chips. Rip-off.

I hear you on those doughnuts there, PC. Hm. Delicious. So light and fluffy. There's this store right by Superstore in Metrotown that sells them, a dozen for $3.00. Such a BAD spot to put tempting doughnuts after you've shopped at Superstore. And then when they hand out samples, that's it! Hook, line and sink!

I haven't been to the PNE in quite a few years either.  I'm with Russ.....love the cotton candy.  Even though it's nothing short of mowwing down on a bowl of white sugar.....I have to have one when I go.

  HAHAAAHAAA.....I wonder.

Took me ages to bake that beautiful cake from scratch.   ....and I don't sing for just anybody.

Where'd you end up going for dinner?

I had some sardines for dinner.

Sportsdude

This local pub called Growler's. It was between 4-7pm so it was buy one get one free appitizers. I had chicken wings (the entire chicken wing not just the shoulder like they give you at most places) and a spinach articoke dip. Then I had a southwestern wrap.  Had a great time.
Then my cousin and Grandma got a cake for me. So I celebrated with them too.

Thousands of years ago cats were worshipped.  They have not forgotten.

I remember 21! Great year. In school and loving it.

Enjoy every second.

  Happy Thursday Everyone!

Good morning everyone!  What are your plans for today?

Russ

Good morning miss PL, PC, and SD

Hope your birthday was a good one SD... 21 for you was Im sure what 19 was for me. Right after I was finished work that day, a few friends showed up to meet me.. they took me to the closest strippers (which was Fraser Arms at the time), walked in and saw 17 of my friends there. I was one of the last in my group of friends to turn 19, not that we hadnt been drinking for the last few years... we all had fake id's.

Sounds like a great Bday though, having dinner with your dad at the bar Im sure was worth it. Are you the older one in your group of friends?

Dinner last night was good, ended up heading out for the Wednesday night Karaokee drinking night at the local, so I had a beer for ya SD. A few friends I hadnt seen for a while showed up, and still the group couldnt convince me to sing.
