Here's a pic, SD. They also come in cubes. It's basically ginger (pure stuff) coated with sugar. It's chewy. You can find them in asian markets.

Ok this I have had. Its not too bad. You can get it seasoned with different sweet tasting seasonings.

it's very fishy and chewy. It tastes like squid..but very dried... It has a strong smell. OMG, almost lunch!

You've had those, Russ!? Awesome! Again, I don't know many guys (besides asian guys) who'd eat this stuff. Whenever I buy speciality looking foods, my b/f gives me this weird look and says "no thanks." LOL. Oh well, his loss.

Oh, last night, I had 2 ripe avocadoes. I had a craving. "Ewwwww" said Russ again! LOL.

SD, moon cakes are generaly sold in the fall when the chinese have their moon festival.
