It had occurred to me, but then I just figured that that was how you did it.
My questions are:
Why Canada?
Why not Australia or Britain, like most Americans?
Why Vancouver?
Why not Toronto, Ottawa, Québec...?
If you're going to pick a place you've never been, Vancouver is a pretty interesting choice. And you seem so committed to it as well.
Just curious.
Why Canada? Uh its colder? Thats right I said COLDER! hehe.
Ah I just like how americans (around here) put the place down. Any place that rednecks put down I want to go to.
I was wooed by Smallville, taken in by Pierre and fell in love with its ideas and culture. There's this one phrase on the Pierre Trudeau wikipedia file that somes up why I like Canada:
"Trudeau is seen by many as embodying the spirit of his age: youth, ambition, and rebellion against conformity."
Replace Trudeau with Canada and you see my point.
Its too hot in Austrialia and Britian looks cool but the women are ugly but I do like the fact that they drive small cars. Not a soccer fan. But I do like trains and mass transit everywhere, something Europe in general is good at.
Why Vancouver?
Well I also looked into Montreal and Ottawa. Ottawa looked cool but I've heard its not a singles place. Montreal looks really good but I'm coming from a place where I've been singled out due to my views and its my natural tendencey to challenge authority but I've already fought that fight and I came out bloodied and bruised in Missouri so I don't want to fight over politics in general because the language issue in Quebec is exactly like the social issues here. They are wedges to wedge people apart from another.
I don't like Toronto. Don't know why, maybe its because I'm a habs fan. Would be a Canucks fan but I don't live on the west coast.
