Someone recently asked me if I would know the signs of a guy cheating. I.... well, I'm not sure if I would know.

I bet if he was cheating he would probably:

  a) leave the house at different hours of the day and not come back till very, very late

b) constantly talking about a certain someone ALL THE TIME and comparing her to you

c) don't seem really interested in doing stuff with you

This friend says her brother is cheating on not one but 3 different girls in different countries! Can you believe that?

What do you think are obvious signs? This goes for girls too, y'know. It's a two-way street.

The guy constantly turns you down for sex.

Communication is lost.  He doesn't care to talk to you.

Affection is lost.  He no longer wants to cuddle, compliment you, etc.

And last but not least, women have these "intuitive feelings."  We always know when something isn't quite there.

I wonder if they would pay you uncharacteristic compliments....bring you flowers etc.?

Hmmm.....looks like I may be way off base.

I'm not sure what you mean, PC.

I was thinking maybe bringing flowers or paying compliments to 'throw you off track'.

Oh, I see.  You mean if he all of a sudden started doing that?  I've never heard of a guy trying to suck up to the women if he was cheating on her.  But heck, I could be wrong.

I find that once a guy is with another girl, he loses interest in his current relationship.  He has given up already.

Hopefully, no one here has to go through this with their current relationship.  Cheaters never win!  What goes around, comes around.  I don't understand why these "cheaters" couldn't talk to their partners before going behind their backs.  I have zero respect for cheaters.

Could be a guilt trip. As in if the guy is married to her and he's having an affair, he buys her flowers because he's feeling guilty.

But on the whole, I don't think he would do something like that. He would probably distance himself from her. Avoiding all contact or anything to connect them together.

I just feel bad for the girls that this friend's brother is seeing. I can't believe he would go to all that extreme and get away with it. I bet he's done this deliberately (long distance relationship) so the girls won't stand a chance of finding out.

Too true purelife.  I'd like to think karma would step in for cheaters.  There is NEVER a good enough excuse....NEVER.  Even if they can't talk to their partners....for gawds sake, just leave.  That still hurts...but not near as bad as having your heart ripped to shreds by cheating.  It changes you in a way that you can never get back.  [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/traurig/c040.gif" border=0]

Yeah. What's the saying....? Once bitten, twice shy. It's like you don't trust ANYONE any more. Kinda sad.
