Happy Saturday!

PC, kind of butterflies in your stomach getting a house evaluated. Bad seller's market, but if you have to buy too, you are laughing. Especially your beautiful spot. You guys should do ok. It is not like you would be trying to sell some tiny crowded condo in Vancouver.

Anyways, whatever comes, best of luck.

It's funny, because we've been looking at every single spot that has even remote potential for where we want to go.....but last night was the first time we looked at what's available in our own neighbourhood.  It was a rude awakening....there are waterfront homes on acreage for $575  !!!!  Stuff is going pretty cheap around here, in spite of the fact that the realtors say that this area is still one of the hottest areas. Crazy how fast things change. Condos in Vancouver and Calgary are almost free these days...lol

Enjoy the day. My day should involve mini-golf, pizza, music, then a beer (or 2).

  cheers.

Evening everyone!

Van- mini golf..is this a date?

P.C.- how are you feeling after the real estate evaluation?

Ran errands for most of the day, including voting and taking Heckyl's goretex jacket to Outdoor Innovations (broken zipper).  Fed my dad baked ham, scalloped potatoes, veg, rice krispie squares.  With colder weather, I'm into the downhome food.

Dad's meal sounds wonderful Lil Me.  Perhaps you'd like to come cook for us ?

The real estate guy comes at 1:00 today.     Why do I feel panic stricken ?

Morning! Hows everyone doing.
Im enjoying coffee and trying to decide what to attempt first. the roll out tarp thingys or going shopping for some smaller totes to organize the freezer better.
I ended up spending alot of yesterday dealing with the freezer.. as when I was looking for stuff in there I couldnt find it, so I started to take stuff out..and decide that it needed to be cleaned out. As I got nearer the bottom I noticed freezerburnt stuff thats left over and dated... from around 88 and later. Then at the bottom there was about 1.5 inches of berries, juices, meat blood, etc frozen hard. So yeah.. it needed a good cleanout.
For the organization I have decided to use totes.. we bought some from linens and things yesterday as they were going out of business.. and the ones I bought were 1 inch too long for what I wanted. bugger, lol.

So whats teh plans today

Ambitious Mr. Russ !!!  Freezers have a way of getting out of hand.  I don't have one, but only for the lack of space to put one.  I read somewhere once, that if you can afford the space in your freezer, to line the bottom with plastic milk jugs filled with water.  That way, if the power goes out, it extends the length of time things will stay frozen by several hours.  You're also equipped with a good supply of drinkable water in the event of a disaster.
