I didn't believe my friend at all, but when I got there to pick him up and head off to a Rainbow War theme party put on by a mutual friend of his (and now I'm in this group as well) of thirtysomething year old filmmakers and artists, the 'make out' spot was teaming of teenagers. So they do still exist.

My buddy junked his car the next day as the repairs were too much.

I've spent most of the weekend in some state of inebriation brought on by parties where people were buying me drinks.

One question.... Why would thirtysomething year olds need a "make out" spot?

If all goes well from the interview, I could be going back to work in 1-2 weeks time.  There are a couple of things that I'm looking forward to, one being the benefits!!!!

Hey everyone!

Best of luck to you, purelife.  It's an exciting time for you as you go job hunting.  I know something magical will come for you--as you're such a smart, hardworking lady.  Go get 'em!

I'm so tired.  Been grouchy since 4pm. *pours another drink*

Yes yes, best of luck Miss purelife !

It's a good thing I'm smart enough to have checked that it wasn't the 26th today, or I might have asked what the heck you were doing drinking at 10 in the morning.

So sorry you're being run through the mill at that job Lil Me.  Such fools they are to not appreciate a hard worker.

LOL- I'm not drinking at 10am *yet*.

Had a great lunch- take out greek food courtesy of my sales co-ordinator.  My receptionist and I were sworn to secrecy about the shenanigans which took place last week in Texas (the conference that I missed).

Ah well, it's a short week.  I'm popping vitamin C as I'm surrounded by two employees with pneumonia and one with strep throat.  Looking forward to camping at the lake this weekend.

I heard echinecea along with vit C is supposed to help too.  Not sure if it works.

Yep, same work place.  The funny thing is, my friend called me yesterday about a job at her company.  So, if this one was not to work out for some odd reason, then I have something to fall back on.

The dangerous thing about working in downtown is the SHOPPING!!!
