lunch: 2 hard-boiled eggs, strawberries
dinner: roasted cauliflower, mashed taters and pork

Work has been on my mind these days.  Whether to go back to my former job or take my chances and find something else.  Days are going by so quickly.

I found the same thing is true for me too, about the days going by. Maybe I'm just bored with nothing to do, but gosh, if this is what retirement is like (which I'll never see anyway) count me out. lol

I imagine it's nothing what retirement is like.  You'd have to put 40 - 50 years in the workforce under your belt first, to get a better idea.  I'm sure you'll be ready for a little R&R after that.

Dinner 2 hot dogs 1 bun. ketchup mustard and relish.. 1 small bag of lays barbecue rib potato chips. not bad but they where not good either. I was unimpressed with them, the steak and onion 2 years ago was a much better chip imo.

I don't know... Depends on the field one goes into I guess.
Haha. If I put in 50yrs, I'll be in my mid 70s. And that's not counting 'career' which probably won't start until I'm 30, so that's 80.

I got bored last week and searched 'how long I will live' and the computer said 78. I won't make it.

Half of my family that's of retirement age died while working in the field/sitting in a tractor.
The other half moved to Florida and took up work at a country club so they could play golf.

I don't think it matters much what field you go into.  After 40 or 50 years of it, a rest is going to look pretty good.

Baked a pizza and then got this as a text message "My car died at a make out spot and I  can see people making out... this is embarrassing." Now I'm headed out to Coquitlam. lol

zoom zoom as tenk would say.

lol @ dude. Hmm there are still "make put spots"?  I don't reserve myself to certain geographical areas to make out. If I want a kiss, I'll take it.

  Lunch - chicken teriyaki

I didn't believe my friend at all, but when I got there to pick him up and head off to a Rainbow War theme party put on by a mutual friend of his (and now I'm in this group as well) of thirtysomething year old filmmakers and artists, the 'make out' spot was teaming of teenagers. So they do still exist.

My buddy junked his car the next day as the repairs were too much.

I've spent most of the weekend in some state of inebriation brought on by parties where people were buying me drinks.

If all goes well from the interview, I could be going back to work in 1-2 weeks time.  There are a couple of things that I'm looking forward to, one being the benefits!!!!
