Thanks for the sympathy and support, everyone.
P.C.- I had no idea you were a professional at this. Wow. I feel like such an idiot because I bought a kit at JYSK and couldn't even get that to work.
I took down a couple of panels of venetian blinds and am attempting to wash them in the bathtub. Wish me luck

lol....I hear ya Michel. I have a bad habit of underestimating how long something is going to take me. Everything almost always takes at least twice as long as you thing it will.
Take it easy Lil Me....it'll all work out.

I think the drapery job was a little more complicated than poor Lil Me let on.

Well I CAN control your levels.....but I don't. Except sometimes I can be a little in a blessed mood. You can give karma as well....but I think it's only once per hour per poster. I can bless my brains out. [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/frech/a030.gif" border=0]

I've just discovered that Palmolive soap can clean anything. Dirt, dust, grease, smoke on Venetian Blinds.
ADD: And then I painted a couple of doors. My ankle hurts! Time for another drink.

Yes! It was temporary.
Quite excited that I could clean the venetian blinds in the bathtub with dish soap.
2 panels done, 7 to go.
I was going to take them to a professional to have them ultrasonically cleaned (whatever that is!), but now I don't need to.
Saved a couple hundred bucks.
