No but I sure wish I had they'd just about have done the job. Some sandbags were issued a few weeks ago (in response to the last three floods), however I noticed them 'everywhere' this morning.

Since they already have them, it seems stupid to wait when they know the flooding is olny a matter of time.  Don't they ever plan ahead?  I pity you, slogging home in the flooded streets.  Work must have been difficult as well.

Work turned out brilliantly, it was too bad for anyone to turn out!

Yes, although the garden is nicely under water and all I can see are the trees.

However onto more interesting matters, have you done your laundry today?

No, that was yesterday.  Why, pray tell, do you ask?

Oh, one just wondered. I hope your whites are now whiter than white.

That phrase always puzzled me.  White is an absence of color.

Yes, it doesn't exactly make sense, does it? Let me rephphrase it and ask if your whites turned out as dazzling as your present wit?

Oh, much clearer than that!  Perhaps cleaner as well.

Oh, you certainly believe in keeping a  low profile then. Dark glasses worn as you hang it out on the line?

No line, just a dryer.  I would actually prefer a line on dry days.  The clothes smell nicer.

It is better if it is a nice clear day away from smog and exhaust fumes.  On second thought, I think I'll stick with a dryer.

Hello Kitten I've got to get cat food for Tigger. He hasn't had cat food in 2 days. Grandma gave him dog food LOL!!! He wouldn't eat it but Ozzie sure did.
