I need a new suit, too. Sport Chek doesn't have their summer stock out yet, but they usually have good suits- lots of tankinis and basic 1-piece suits.
Costco usually stocks the Body Glove 3/4 length wet suits in the spring, too ($30-$40?). I'd consider getting one this year. A lot of the swim instructors wear them. I could use one because I do spend time in the water with my Scout groups, and would like to avoid the wedgie/bathing suit slippage issues.
Lise, it might be good for you when you're splashing around in the kiddie pool- I was always freezing my butt when my kids were tots because the kiddie pool water isn't deep enough to cover an adult!
