We had this grand old cat....Leonard, who was the most comical clown of an animal that one could ever hope to encounter.  I think he WAS what he WAS because of the atmosphere and environment that he 'grew up' in.  Surrounded by kids and a ton of their friends (who are less than gentle sometimes)  a steady flow of OUR friends with kids, etc.  I keep thinking that I can duplicate that 'personality' in a new pet.....but I don't think it's really  possible.

OMG Sportsdude that's the best redneck porn I've heard in a while. A horse tied to a tree?!?!? I feel really bad for the horse but I just can't stop laughing right now.

No joke. Right next to the old pontaic that was selling for 50 dollars.

THAT'S the dog sportsdude,  nasty piece of work that dog was.  I know THEY were nervous of how this dog would react at any given time.  WITH THEIR FRIENDS no less.  I love them dearly (my friends) , but this is irresponsible pet ownership, in my opinion.

PC 2 tops in a row? You truly are the Princess of DS. Have some karma.[/DIV]And you are right. I keep wishing I could have cats with certain personalities. The best cat we ever had, Lugnut, was from the pound. I don't know where she was raised but this cat was perfect. Never scratched the kids, put up with the dog just enough, and she could always sense when the right time for a lap sit was. I miss that cat *sniff*. Stupid having to live on a busy street.

I think I'm in a bit of a tizzy tonight, because I fear that a friendship could be in jeopardy because of a freaking dog.  (I know how that sounds)  These people believe that a dog doesn't need to be trained.....that training is CRUEL.  Yikes.....what to do.

Whoa. I know of the types of which you speak. Like they think that the dog doesn't like being told what to do. But I think it's just the opposite, dogs want to please us! They want to show off and have you be proud of them. (and give out treats). I wish I had some advice for you. People get really touchy about their pets in those situations.

Well at least the the dog doesn't inbreding like a pack of black labs I know down on the farm. The pack has inbreded so much they are more vicious then coyotes. Rabid beasts need to be shot.

oh and you need 250 to become a senior member. Wonder whats the next rank? I bet it will happen at 500 so we'll see in a few weeks.

"dogs want to please us!"[/DIV] If you mean trying to kill its owner with one of its lethal farts then yeah, you could say that.

lol! They just want to show you what they made. "Look what I can do"Don't worry PC I've been very restrained with the karma usage. You got a ton. You must be a nice person. Plus, you are one of the few that do both the day and night shifts here. It sucks whenever I'm about to go to work DS is just exploding and the gang all gets here.

"I must confess about 15 of your 35 karma points have come from me."[/DIV] Sweetieeeeee, that's so very kind of you.  But you must reserve your 'blessings' for the very best.  Otherwise they lose their meaning.  I appreciate it none the less.[img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="vny!://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/more/bigs/a194.gif" border=0]
