A chocolate croissant (too sweet) and coffee (somewhat bitter, but that's how I like it).

As you may have guessed by now, I don't have a sweet tooth. Incidentally, I grey ALL the vegetables.

What do you mean by "grey all the vegetables"?  How do you grey them?  Incidentally, a very good morning to you.

It's not secret - grey was a mistype of grew!

Good morning? It's been raining non-stop from first thing, however first work session of the week just completed before I return in a half an hour or so.

Sorry, Gopher, my mind must have been on stand-by, or I would have understood what you meant.  I envy you for being able to grow your own veggies.  The best I can do with what little sunny area I have is to grow tomatoes and cukes.  The taste is so much nicer than what one can get in a store.

Agreed, and IF the rain gives me a chance tomorrow, I'm going to dig up the first of my new potatoes.

Already?!!  That's wonderful.  *drool*   Some day this week aomeone is supposed to come and weed my garden for me so I can start planting.  At least I hope he is.

One more shift for my week.  A chance to sleep in, after I feed the cat.

Have you noticed how chances for a lie-in never seem to come to anything? You either wake up early and get up because you don't know what to do with yourself - OR someone knocks on the door.

You're right....once the cat wakes me, I'm up for the day.  But he wakes me at the first sign of light, which comes ever earlier each day.

Another strange feature about ghetting up early is that no matter how early the hour, when it comes to going off to work you're always in a rush.

Not me.  I have almost a paranoia about being late for anything.  Generally, I will arrive well before the appointed time.  Insane, but true.

I'm the same, I only rush because I worry so much about not arriving anywhere BEFORE I said I would

Wouldn't it be nice if others felt the same?  Usually the person you endeavour to be early for, so as not to inconvenience them, will turn out to be the sort that never arrives on time for anything.
