Oh, thanks for the thought SD. That's definately what I'm having for dinner tomorrow!

I bought a couple of thick pork chops that I might try tomorrow. My friend is supplying the veggies and salad. It's either that or steak again. That sounds like a great idea, Lil Me. Let me know how it turns out if you decide to do a roast that way.

I've had a lot of toasted ravioli lately.

Speaking of ravioli, Costco sells this bag of spinach and mozzarella ravioli and these are absolutely delicious! Mmmm...my stomach's already growling just thinking of these...so tempted to eat right now, but it's getting late.

Morning Everyone!
Life is good now that I have a coffee elf. Heckyl has been waking up early and making me coffee. Granted, there's usually coffee grounds all over the floor, but he's learning. Must find a way to curb his habit of "taking things apart" out of curiosity. Yesterday morning the coffee grinder was in pieces
and I don't like 3D puzzles first thing in the am.

All I do is grill brats.
Its a midwest/german thing.
In Canada, it's more "smokies" than brats.
You can get brats but they're imported from the US.

This is the only brats I've seen around New Westminster. There are probably others but I don't look for it.

Another sausage popular in Winnipeg and on the prairies is Farmer's Sausage.
One of the best comes from Winkler Meats. (Winkler being a small Mennonite town south of Wpg.)
The Winnipeg office manager's name -
Harry Dyck.

So do they sell Johnsonville in Canada or not? That's the bratwurst brand I buy.
