Thick as in personality type
Thick as in Pasta
Thick as in Stew, Soups or  Books
Thick as in body types or thin like the soles of our shoes. thin as in the fillet knife

thick or thin can have many connotations. narrow it down for us  gopher, this one needs a little clarification... until Gopher put this  question to a point of reference, it can not be validly answered.  as it  stands I can provide a few answers. but it may not be what gopher had in  mind when asking this question.

I prefer a Thick Mattress over a thin one,
I like thick cut french fries over thin ones
I like thick stews verses thin ones
I like a thin dipping gravy over a thick one.
I like a thick steak over a thin one...
