Is that a rabbit or a cat?

Wow!!!!  That's a gorgeous pic.  Is that Cashmere in the forefront?   How did you manage to get that close without startling the deer?

It WORKED !!!!

He is a beautiful cat.  And he looks to be rather tall, too.  He seems to be annoyed that he's on the outside and you're not.

That's my cat.  The deer was very calm..... and thirsty.  She had quite the feast in the herb garden, and a tasty refresher from the birdbath.

Hey the deer look the same in Canada. What a shock. HUGE CAT!

Oh BOY......this is FUN.

This is the deck I just demolished a couple weeks ago *cry*

Wow you have a very foresty back yard. Cool.

You live in Paradise!  Did you have to remove all the plants growing around the deck, or were you able to save them?

It just dawned on me how did the deer migrate onto an island thousands of years ago? I know they aren't the best swimmers in the world?

Well, most everything is potted......the ferns are 'natural' and they remain.  I'm going to replace the deck with a flagstone patio.....but not until next spring.  Too many projects on the go right now, that I want done before the fall. (not to mention, I just don't have the time or energy)  It was a HUGE deck......it goes about another 12 feet to left of the pic.

That's the least dense area of the forest, Sporstdude.  That's the front of the property closest to the road.  The property in the other direction is VERY thick forest.

Sorry to go, but I must get to bed.  I've been up since 4:30 this morning and I'm really noticing it now.  Sweet dreams to both of you.  Have a splendid tomorrow.  Good night.

I'm glad to hear that you will still have all your plants and a flagstone patio will be stunning.  Great choice.  Do you ever stop working?
