My take on things would be to apply for student housing NOW! The Malaspina website recommends that you apply for housing the same time you apply for admission. Not much use getting a student visa if you're going to be living under a bridge. Lol [/DIV]
Ditto to that. Did you not apply for on-campus student housing when you first applied to Malaspina? I hope you did otherwise it looks like you're SOL.
The web-site there says: "Apply NOW to add your name to the waiting list for September 2007." That tells me student housing is already full and the only thing left is the wait list. Even if one gets accepted, they say "acceptance at Malaspina University-College does not guarantee acceptance in residence."
Also, it says "Room assignments are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Letters of acceptance are distributed to students in June/July for the fall semester; in November for the spring semester, and in early April for the summer semester."
By the way, congrats on your acceptance at Malaspina University-College and good luck from student housing, to your student visa, to your classes.
