Yeah he goes through a pattern of a ton of girls, more girls, girlfriend...2 years later... ton of girls, more girls, girlfriend....

There was free breakfast at Denny's? How come ?

Just the Grand Slam was free and no takeout...........was a Super Bowl promotion.  There were long lines outside every Denny's I drove by today

Free Grand Slam breakfasts til 4pm.

They advertised during the super bowl about the free breakfast and about their family friendly cheap breakfast meals during the economic downturn. That's why for the free breakfasts. They got 40 million hits on their website.

Yeah we used to go to Shoney's all the time by our house, then it moved out of the area and replaced by a 24/7 Breakfast all day local place (which is an institution, but its only good past midnight kinda places...)

I think the Denny's in the States are a heck of a lot better than the Denny's here.  I haven't eaten there a lot, but none of it was palatable.  (here)    I've eaten there a few times in the States, and it was always quite good.

The closest Denny's to the states is the completely new Denny's that they remodelled on Davie...

A great advertising gimmick.  Since the free Grand Slam has to be eaten in.........turnover at each table would be at least 30 minutes........since the free meals were only served between 6AM to 2PM, they got away cheap!

Sportsdude

did you go to the Davie one after its been remodelled?

I dunno, I can't tell the difference other than you don't have 'Sweet Nacho' options on the menus and you don't have the night life associated with Dennys.
