Costco food is cheap and delicious.  One day, for lunch, I've got to take the skytrain to Stadium to grab lunch there.  :)

tenkani

Awww, that is teh suck.

Did he find a better job elsewhere?

In any case, sorry for your loss. I know it can hit pretty hard when it's a friend who moves on.

The gift card was a GREAT idea!
For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

It feels grrrrrreat when you eat lunch at Costco without buying a cart full of groceries.  Like eating lunch at Ikea without shopping or eating cheap buffet at the casino without gambling :)

He's going after his dreams of becoming a Paramedic.  Good for him to follow his desires!  :)

Yeah, it's sad to see people leave.  My favorite buddy at work left and I miss her terribly.  :(

Hay, in Canada do you guys have the folks who don't bother to buy Lunch, they just show up at Cost Co and cycle through all the sample stands 2 or 3 times until they're sufficiently bloated?

  Is that wrong ?  [/DIV]

You don't have to show your member card to buy lunch, but more often than not, you need one to get ing the door.

tenkani.....I remember those chicken wrappy things.  They had them for a short while, but the last time I was there, they were gone.  They were pretty not bad.

The last casino I went to was Silver Reef just outside Bellingham.  It was pretty cheap (but good) buffet.
Less than $15 for dinner.  Didn't gamble a nickel.

When I went to Tacoma to visit a college last year I got strange looks when I said "aren't your casinos on the water?"

There's also a buffet at Hastings Park ($20?).  Includes admission to the racetrack.  Never been myself.
