I know Lise, I'm looking for bigger tortillas so I'm thinking about going to the mexican market down the street, still haven't found an asian market altough I wouldn't be suprised to see one pop up in the near future the asian population here has gone from about 5 people to 100 people.

I'm sure an Asian grocery store will pop up soon. Or you can just open one up yourself.

Hey purelife, lady fingers to me is okra, y'know.. that veggie. Where can I find what you're talking about?

I'd have to find an asian girl first before I can claim anything on how to make asian food. lol

Nah, SD.  You don't need an asian girl to claim that you can make asian cuisine.

Next week, our department is going to an outing to an Afgan restaurant.  That shall be interesting.  I've never had Afghan food.  Looks yummy.

Sportsdude

Lamb curry is pretty good too, if you've not yet tried it.

I've had lamb...it's just too expensive to buy lamb.  I love the roast lamb meal at Stephos.  OMG OMG!  *mouth watering*

Just curious? What kind of food is Afghan food? Is it curried? or more like Chinese? I just never heard of what kind it is.

Actually, any kind of food would be good right now!

The only time I've ever had lamb was when me and a couple families were celebrating passover for some reason. Didn't like the lamb at all but that was 10 years ago atleast. salty. Now I'd probably like it.
