well we are all in that position but if you take on a job then take it on .... not a place to show up and just be there then expect to get paid

Definitely.  If you're at work, you should do the work or else get fired.  But I only work for necessity.

  Lunch - salmon, quinoa, leeks/celery/mushrooms

Dinner - probably steel cut oats with walnuts.   I make a huge batch of these oats for the week.

Gopher

Have you git a picture of the, PL?

      Breaded cod

no pic, Gophie.  My lunch isn't nicely plated - it's just dumped into one container.

Lunch today is sandwiches - catered cuz we have a meeting. :P

Dinner - probably 2 hard boiled eggs with  salad

[span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"]My Lunch today was Cavatappi Pasta
I served it with Pork tenderloin
I cut the pork into 1 inch cubes & then I grilled it to perfection
I served my [/span][span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"]Pasta[/span][span style="color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"] with a Stewed mushroom sauce
I added green peppers & green onions to the sauce as it simmered
the pork was tender moist and delicious.
The Green peppers were still slightly crisp
they were perfect not mushy & full of crisp flavor
The green onions were a excellent topping.

I wish I had, had some red chili flakes and fresh ground Parmesan if I had had some for a topping that would of made this a perfect meal.  The total cost for 5 lunch's in ingredients was 8.50 I can make 4 more lunches just like today's with the left overs, which I will be freezing in 4 micro-wave-able containers, to serve for meals later this month.  They will not be as good as when it is  served fresh but they will be almost as good.

This is the best Lunch I have made in weeks. Sadly I will be back to eating cheap pasta dishes & whatever fruits & vegetables I can get for cheap.

Total food budget for the month is 23 dollars.  if I skiped paying my bills. I would have more.

I have to say that you eat quite healthy for someone who is on a tight budget, Orik. :)  Healthy food is always the most expensive which doesn't make sense to me in this society.  But that's another topic.

Lunch - leftover spag and meatballs.  I used shredded zuchinni as my thickener in this one.  :)

I've wondered the same thing.

It's OK if you can grow your own vegetables, but not everyone has a garden.

Salmon today, everything else home grown.

We're out of food here; or maybe we're just out of food one can make within minutes. I've only had chips, cheese, and bread sticks from work in the past couple of days. yikes.
