These were white pelicans and it was in Washington State, not BC.

AH AH AH ! Pate de sheperd, no way cutie, it's "paté chinois", which means chinese paté hehe ! Why chinese ? Because for French Canadians, anything that is complicated and all mixed up is "Chinese".
