Unfortunately they seems to be only in Van, never heard of them before Purelife talk about it and that I arrived here.

That's interesting. I thought that they were all over the place.

Nope, in Ottawa I was stucked with Chapters, hence I discovered Amazon and was very happy with, but still, there's nothing like having the pleasure of peeking into a book before you buy it.
Montréal has TONS of bookshops, mainly in French. The used ones are just amazingly rich in diversity compare to here.

You know, there's another excellent book store for the genres you're interested in that I discovered a few years ago. It's on Broadway near Granville, beside this hat store, across from Chapters. They have cheap and rare books, that I think you'll enjoy. It's a small, narrow book store.

Cut and pasted and sent home.
I'll check for that Purelife, thanks for the info.

I did. They were distributing them at the Burrard Skytrain Station. I ended up giving them away because I don't like gum with aspartame.

LOL, it's pretty tough to do bubbles with that. You gotta chew Bubblicious brand of gum.

Why so sleepy Michel......it's only Monday. (mind you, I feel a tad sleepy myself.) I think it's the blasted weather. We're all supposed to feel lazy because of all the warmth and sunshine.....and there is none.
