hey P.C. have you ever gone to the Farmer's Market in Nanaimo during the Fall?

No...I never have.  There are many farmers markets in my own area so I don't need to go there.

  What have you heard about it ?  Is it supposed to be good ?

I don't know yet. Its on my student activities list and its on Fridays before Thanksgiving. I don't have class on fridays so I figure I should check the place out.

SD....are you sure you don't want to have your vehicle ?  This is driving me crazy.  I just hated being on the island without wheels.  The bus thing is REALLY limited and I felt trapped without my own transportation.

I'll take it year by year. If I need to I'll just work summers at home then save enough money to buy a cheap car in BC.

I'll save my money and next year I'll buy something. Won't take much I'll always have a job to come home to during the summers.

Good morning all.

  I hear ya on the cars and Nanaimo. Public transit there isn't exactly..... well, let's just say it's really tough if you don't own a car. Actually, come to think of it. It's tough if you don't own a car. Period. I wish public transit was as reliable as the ones in Japan (so I've heard).

  You guys got me on this veggie thingy ever since the thread on burgers. I'm going to try veggie tofu hot dogs. My hubby thinks it's all a trap. Tofu and hot dogs surely don't go together but I'm going to try for it. Ever since reading about parts of animals to go into hot dogs, I've been turned off but with tofu dogs, you can't go wrong.

  Tonight we're heading off to a friend's b'day. So mysterious they haven't even told us the place and time. Talk about late notice!

to me soy hot dogs taste way better then the normal hot dogs. Plus they don't have pig toe nails and other stuff. (that's in a hot dog)

Soy hot dogs. Didn't taste too bad. At least nobody made a face. Yaayyy.... something we can all agree on.

  Have decided on a restaurant. It's Korean. Yummy. Can't wait! I think I may order bimbibap courtesy of Monkee.
