I like the Mediterranean Fresh for their baked chicken, cous cous and hummous.  It's yummy.  I haven't tried their pho though, is it any good?  Have you had their soup?

You were always close, Michel. ;)

Michel

Ah I ate there too, plus the japanese on the right (not the last one, the other nearer). Never try the soup though at the Mediterranean. But I ate the pho at the vienamese place, not bad.

Le soleil (or whatever french name they have) on the opposite side is beuark !

  Always near eh ? lol[/DIV]

purelife

Uhm, I was talking about the soup at that pho place.  I'll have to try it one day if you say that it's good.  I don't quite like the Le Soleil anymore.  I notice that nothing is really that fresh and they just preheat stuff.

There's another great place too.  Under the TD Building if you continue walking north on Thurlow, you'll hit an "underground" food court and there's one that's called FRESH and they sell awesome food for $6.50.

Joyeux Cafe on Hastings and Bute have the best Pho in downtown that I could find.

Michel

Hey thanks fot the hint about the pho Hasting, I'll try this place. Under TD you say for Fresh, I don't see it from my window, too much buildings. Not sure if I've been yet. Is it the food court beside under the Hyatt?

Yeah the pho is not bad for what I remember. I nearly order on today, it's so cold outside. One thing I like in Van is the free green tea everywhere, that's great !

Le Soleil, being there only once, was catastrophic, never dare to went back.[/DIV]

It's the building on the NE side on Melville and Thurlow.  There's TD Bank and if you walk in that building, and head for the escalator going down, and then turn left, you'll see that FRESH place.  It's a mini food court.

Oh, you'll like Joyeux.  They have excellent beef soup, wonton/shrimp soup, seafood soup....oh, I haven't been there for months... I'll have to go there again.

  Oh dear PC.....

Michel

Either Miss PC is posting pics that I can not access from work or her keyboard has a voice extinction...

Michel

Ok I'll check that Fresh place, no too far.
