Oh ah.... being chased by a monster. Kinda scary in your dreams. I've had one where it chased me up the stairs into our old playroom and I slammed the door, locking the monster out. What a nightmare.

Apparently you can control your dreams by re-writing it, purelife. Think of the monster as an overgrown puppy the next time you have your nightmare.

That was a rude manager!   He was all about $$$$$$!  Rude minded owners like that won't get very far with customer service and profits, that's for sure.  Hmmmph!

Yup, he's the artist and really good at it.  It runs in his family.  Me, on the other hand, can't draw a damn thing.  He recently got an artist desk and is luvin it.  He really needs his own room so that I don't see the mess.

Lise

Yeah, I know. He only cares about filling out the tables. It kinda sucks too because I usually go back there and I bring customers. What an ass.....e. Each time I go back to Fish On Rice, I keep getting disappointed. Dirty environment, bad manager, orders not filled... *sigh*

the parade was on channel 8 (m channel) last nite. i guess that doesnt really help anyone now.

yes, you can control your dreams to a certain point. i used to be able to do it, but i cant seem to anymore. i used to be chased alot, dogs, monsters, people, then one dream, i decided to confront the thing chasing me and i have never been chased since. im sure there is an underlying message of some sort.

Has anyone thought about lunch yet?

Lil Me

Hi Everyone!

Just finished a bowl of leftover pasta.  Now I'm munching on CNY pastries.

CNY pastries...yummy!

Afternoon to you too, Lil Me.

I'm just having a seafood lasagna and a blueberry blackberry juice.

Lil Me

Sounds good.  Your blueberryblackberry juice sounds waaay better than my old, cold coffee!

Yum! Sounds delicious, purelife.

Just finished up with lunch, leftover vegetarian noodles. We did a carrot cake this morning and it's delicious. Who would have thought those cake mix that you buy off the shelves can be quite tasty? We tossed in a few grated fresh carrots and it wasn't bad at all.

It still can't beat a fresh baked cake from start but hey, it's easy and a no brainer.

We've been making fat-free boxed cake mix with a can of pumpkin and a cup of water (instead of eggs + oil).  You seriously can't tell the diff.  Last week I brought chocolate cupcakes into the kindergarten class for V-Day...made with pumpkin.  The kids ate an extra vegatable serving without realizing it!

Which brand of carrot cake mix did you use Lise?  It wasn't too sweet?

purelife

That sounds like a verrrrry interesting recipe involving pumpkin.  I love pumpkin.  So, you buy any low-fat cake mix and add the can of pumpkin and water?  That's all?  I'm going to have to try that.  :)

good morning everyone *yawn*
First time in 2 days I didn't crash the car or get stuck in the snow.

So far I've used Betty Crocker spice, carrot and chocolate mix- and the PC organic oatmeal something.

Ah, I've used that organic muffin mix from Superstore.  I never thought to add a can of pumpkin.  I love that idea.  So healthy.  Do you pat dry your pumpkin, Lil Me?  I saw this one episode on Food Network where the lady rolled out her can of pumpkin onto a paper towel, then pat dry and then unfold.  Surprisingly, it didn't stick to the paper towel.  She used a rolling pin.  This was her tip to make the batter less watery or something rather.  I can't remember.
