For thou art with me; thy cream and thy sugar they comfort me
Thou preparest a carafe before me in the presence of Juan Valdez
Thou anointest my day with pep; my mug runneth over
Surely richness and taste shall follow me all the days of my life
And I will dwell in the house of coffee forever.

Lise

Well, SD... you can always manage to stretch out something into something something.

 I have to leave.
I'm doing something with someone but I can't remember what it is but I'm too embarrassed to ask them so I'm just going to show up and we'll go do the thing and I'll hope that somewhere along the way I'll remember before they ask me a question that reveals my doofishness and then I get yelled at.

Hey all, just checking in again. Been moving stuff around downsizing and organizing. I have been 'encouraged' in this general direction.

When I was doing that I found a metal box.. opened it and it was souveneirs and stuff from a relative that served in WWII in the Canadian Armoured Reconaissence.. all his records, medals.. wow. I never knew I had them..

I found something as well.. see if anyone knows anythign about this.. yes its origional.

The headline reads:  Athenia Torpedoed By German Sub: French Troops Swing Into Action.

Anybody know the date and significance of this?

  :)

Piece of history if anyone cares...
Mercy to the Guilty is Torture to the Victims

Lise

Nope but it sounds like a great collector's item. You should take the box and go down to antique store or something like that. Get the history from those items.

Yeah thats what caused the USA to enter the first world war.  They blamed it on the germans but the germans deny blowing up a civilian ship.  Turns out that the US was smuggling ammo under the ship and it blew up on its own.

Yes definately keep that.
