Congrats, my dear. Bless point given to the lady who's at the top of her world.
Damn cold tonight, purelife. Brrr, indeed. Thank goodness there's not much snow.

Roast pork, roast potatoes, caulifower cheese, sprouts, apple sauce, gravy - and a glass of cheap German wine.

Heya purelife!
I had chicken rice today. Made Hainan Chicken Rice. Really easy too. Boil chicken, cook rice in chicken stock (add ginger and garlic) and viola. Easy.

Hi, purelife. Had to run and couldn't answer until now. Lunch was turkey and dressing. I couldn't wait until Christmas for turkey. I'll still have some left then, I'm sure!

I've done the chicken rice thing before. I didn't know that that came with a name. Cool. I just called it chicken/garlic/ginger rice. hee hee..
turkey...yummy. You must have tons and tons of leftovers (assuming that you cook a huge turkey)

It wasn't all that big. I bought the smallest one I could find. But I really like turkey, and it will mean a lot of meals when I don't want to cook something fancy. *

That is definitely true. You could make wraps, sandwiches, turkey congee, turkey casserole....yummy.
I just cheat and buy two turkey drumsticks and bake those.

I gave the drumsticks to my friend. They are her favourite part of the bird. I made some nice soup to use up the bones today. Fried rice is definitely on the menu one of these days.

Do you have a favorite part, kitten? Are you a white or dark meat, kind of gal?
