Thank you. Most of the time my lunch is whatever I had for dinner the night before. I try to make extra so I don't have to do so much cooking til dinner the next night and I can still a good lunch in. Plus I'm diabetic so I have to make sure I eat properly to keep my glucose level in normal range.

I had a turkey sandwich and an apple.

That sounds good too. I think I'll have that for lunch. I'll add lettuce, tomatoe, 2% cheese and a small bag of Sun Chips  :) Now I'm hungry again.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner. I'll even fix you a snack or two.

I am all for enjoying some one else's prepped meals, I am kind of a stickler on inspecting that persons kitchen first. So if there is no objections, I shall do a kitchen inspection first & if it passes mustard, then they can make any meals they wish =D

That seems a bit rude to me and a little odd... no offense. Anyway when I invite people over for a meal, the kitchen is recleaned, the meal is done and served on the table by the arrival time I gave them. Sometimes I'm still serving as they walk through the door especially if the company is the type that likes to be extremely early. All I can say is if you're going to be around so early that you're inspecting my kitchen BEFORE I start cooking then your ass is gonna help prepare the meal  :P

No wait, I'll prepare the meal you get to do the dishes  ;)

Orik

Love to prepare some meals with you Natasha.. :() No problem you cook, I'll clean =) seems like a fair bargain.. And a kitchen tour may seem rude but I got a thing for clean kitchens and I like to see what they got theat I don't, you can also learn a fair bit about a person from that person's kitchen..

Hey Orik.  What can you learn about the person from their kitchen?  I'm assuming that most people have the standard appliances like a fridge and stove..........

Or do you mean what they have in their fridge or pantry can determine what kind of person they are? :P

Natasha - I totally hear ya about the early keeners!  I wonder why they just HAVE to come an hour early than invited time!!

Orik

I mean what kind of spices foods they like, what dishes they use most often, can generally tell which pans they favour for they show the ware and tear.. I am not to sure on the personality thing.. But I love to eat and knowing what people like to cook and eat always fascinates me.. I guess I am odd that way.

I also find if person has a organized and tidy kitchen they tend to be on time at work, they are easy going and seem to work well with others I have also noticed they tend to be good with time management.

I also found some of those with a untidy (mess) or disorganized kitchen. They seemed to arrive late at work more often.  They did not always come across well and had on more than one occasion been grumpy or difficult to work with.

I am not saying this is a sure fired way of getting to know what type of a person some one is, but it has been a bit to coincidental for me to think otherwise...

I am also a major snoop I love to sneak a peek in to the fridge freezer and pantry.. probably one of the reasons I do not get invited back =D

If they're like Orik, they come early to snoop  ;)

If I knew a person was purposely snooping I would not invite them back. I think it's terribly disrespectful to go through a persons belongings (personal or not) without their permission.

LOL.  I heard of this great prank where you fill your bathroom medicine cabinet with golf balls, then invite a ton of friends over for a party.  You get to find out who all the snoops are!!!

Dinner was pasta, sauce, salad and brussels sprouts.  Thanks to MrLM as I was stuck at work until late.

Multiple types of cheeses and crackers with humus for lunch.

Dinner was spinach enchiladas --I just had to celebrate Mexican Independence Day -- at this Mexican restaurant that I thought was a family joint - mind you this was years ago-- but is really only a bar.

I totally agree with you Natasha about the snoops.

If a guest wants to snoop, I prefer if they ask for my permission.  I wouldn't snoop in someone else's home without first asking.  (Hey, is it ok if I check out your stack of mags here??!! - for example)  It's a form of respect, imo.  I also don't like it when guests decide to just invite themselves into our bedroom without asking for permission.  It's different if I'm showing them around the house or if I told them it was ok to go in there, but I've had a few people who just like to invite themselves in to our bedroom, even when our door was clearly closed!!!  Snoopers..... :P
