Hey Peeps!  Anyone still awake?  Got back from a grrrrrreat dinner at Osteria Napoli (1st and Renfrew) for my Dad's Bday.  Oh, we had so much fun.  We were the rowdy Chinese people (with a few "L.F." ringers) at the front table.  Give us 5L of wine and the accordian music, and do you think we can shut up? :)  The LM family needed to get ourselves back home to the sticks, so my blood alcohol is on the low end.   My Dad sure had a good time, though!!!

  I'm awake Lil Me....sort of.

Sounds like a good time was had by all.  5 litres of wine?  Well I guess when you think about it......4 people.....5 litres.....makes sense.  LOL

Accordion you say.  Ummm.....yes...yes indeed.

Glad dad had a good time.....that's what it's all about.  (and you thought it was the hokey pokey)

I really don't know how I'm going to make it the next couple of weeks. lol
Supposedly it takes a month or so, on the college processing.
Its been a day, and I'm already a bit looney/nervous.
Maybe its the cough medication. lol

Glad to know you're safely home and back to the renos.  Missed your wit and your sensibility around here.

speaking of wine, this morning my throat was completely dried out from working outside all night, and I garggled red wine. lol

It worked for about 20 minutes.

Next time drink it.  It works better that way!

well I did of course. I didn't want to choke/cough and proceed to cough all the red wine over the leather furniture in the family room. So I drank it after about 20 seconds.

I denote some scepticism in your tone.
It was fun.  Problem is, I only know how to sing the chorus for songs like "My Way" and "Those were the Days my Friend", whereas my parents and their friends know all the damn verses.

To spit or to swallow.  That is the question.

Aaaaaa.....you know I'm just poking fun...right?  You can have fun doing almost anything if you're open, and in the right frame of mind.

A bunch of us actually played a game of pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey once.....we had a blast.  We had a good time just laughing at our idiocy.  It was a hoot.

Yup....home sweet home.  Got a ton of the tiling done today.  Mr. P.C. did all the prep for me, which was awsome.  Should finish up the tiling by tomorrow, and the grouting on Monday.  I had to quit tonight because the mortar eats my hands.

It was bizarre.  I had actually bought these tile a couple summers ago.  I was looking for a plain white high gloss tile.....couldn't find it.  So the guy at the tile store says....."I have a ton of stuff at home if you want to come over and have a look"   (danger danger danger....but I went anyways)

So I get a heap o tile for 10 bucks.  The plain ones, and the bull-nose ones (tons of those).....only problem was that I knew it would be close quantity wise.  So I laid out all the tile before I started, and there was zero room for error.  I made an error on ONE TILE.

BUT....I found one lone tile to finish the job.
