G'day all. Wow. Luckily I checked the board before attempting. Thank you all for the extra advice. I sure hope everything will go smoothly today. *fingers crossed*

How is everyone today? Looks like a marvellous day.... for tackling the bathroom. Geez. Blessings upon all.

EDIT: What movie did you see, Russ?

Bill Cosby.

Im going to be welding and cutting again.

It was some movie my brother rented Lise.. it was pretty dumb.. I dont remember the name.

Hmm.... that bad, eh? My hubby rented "Children of Men" last night. We're going to try (try being the operative word here) to watch it.

What are you cutting and weilding? Are you building something magnificent?

I loved Children of Men. It was a realistic plot although futuristic. It is VERY high action.

I think the war scenes are really realistic.

Im still attempting to make closing boxes on the side of my truck. Ive got a loggers box on the back and its a bit of wasted space above the wheel wells. So Im making sides and lids on teh top.. its a bigger job than I thought cause I cant find anything I got for it so I have to look, not find it, then go to home depot or the metal shop.

So... yeah. Im making a big mess, lots of noise, and hopefully not another welding burn.

Hay Guise...sup?  ;)

We're going to Costco and then possibly pho.  Yum! :)

purelife

Children of Men...too violent for my liking, and not my kind'of film....

Russ

Sounds like fun miss PL!

The pho sounds good too. I managed to get my dad hooked on it.

Heya Russ. :)

LOL, I can't imagine your dad eating pho.  It's like having a football player eating pho.  ;)

Lise

Gotta run. Got distracted there for a bit.

Good luck with the truck thing, Russ and bless purelife for a catnurday. *poof*

Heeeeey Lunchies!

What's for lunch?  I'm eating the turkey soup that won't go away.

I have the early afternoon off, cuz my azzhat neighbour hasn't received the high tensile chicken wire yet.  I think I'll forgive him, cuz he always smells good :)

Then I'll be sitting in the arena watching lacrosse until dinner.  My Dad's BDay today- he wants to go out for Italian tonight.

I agree LM.. I had 5 bowls of soup last night for dinner and theres still half a massive SS pot of turkey lurkey soup. Its sure good though!

Wish I had your problem. My dad found a 'deal' on drywall and called me to go out to Langley with him. FAWK, the traffic there and back was the pits, and on top of that he neglected to mention that he was buying THIRTY FIVE sheets. Blast.. Im SO sore and tired from loading them then carrying them 160' from the lane in the back yard into the basement. At least my brother helped me unload them.. as my dad stood around crowing about the deal he got. They had some damage and the guy couldnt use them.

I never even got to touch my truck this afternoon. Ah well, theres always tomorrow.

The traffic around my area was the absolute pits as well.. they had the dhaliwal parade or whatever it is. Cops and people parked everywhere. There was a swarm of people going down our front road, as it was closed off to cars.. I thought I was downtown for a while.
