[P align=left]Corrupt governmental alliance with criminal corporation Diebold and prosecutorial tenacity against honest [A href="http://www.laweekly.com/news/12809/diebolds-revenge/"]American Whislte-blower folk-hero Stephen Heller, who bravely exposed the criminal organization[/A], are the hallmarks of veteran prosecutor Steve Cooley's corrupt service as Los Angeles County District Attorney, and Diebold's Bitch.

Let me see if I understand this:

You have a problem with other people posting things about you on another message board, implying such comments are libelous.

But then you come here and call someone you don't even know "Diebold's Bitch"?

Regardless of whether or not I agree with your post (I do), I find that little twist interesting. What do you think?

Interesting question and legitimate point. Isn't it only libel when it is untrue?  LA DA Steve Cooley is Diebold's bitch. He is acting as a servant for a criminal organization.  LA DA Steve Cooley is a disgrace to public office.

Unlike corrupt Los Angeles County DA Steve Cooley, who bends over for the criminal Diebold corporation like a good bitch, and [A href="http://www.laweekly.com/news/12809/diebolds-revenge/"]persecutes American Folk-Hero Whistle Blower Stephen Heller[/A], Florida Attorney General Charlie Crist is [A href="http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/14218870.htm"]an honest public official[/A] who serves the interests of the American voting public, not that of organized crime.

A slippery slope, indeed. Let's look at the ugliness in plain view.

While he may be a reprehensible person, the person you refer to in this thread is most certainly not a "bitch". He is a male human of allegedly odious character.

On the other hand, if some troll on DV calls you a "faggot", and you happen to be a homosexual (which is at least possible, though I have no concern as to your sexual orientation), then that would actually be true. At the very least, while you may consider it to be a malicious statement, it could be true until and unless you state otherwise, no matter how ugly the word may be to one's ears.

Here's where it really gets complicated: if you today stated that you were not a homosexual and won a libel suit on that basis, and then at some later date it was proven or declared by you that you actually were a homosexual, that decision could be overturned, because even if it was malicious, the initial statement would have been true all along. A famous case like this does exist, but I cannot recall it at the moment.

This is why no libel suit has ever been won regarding the word "n***er". Arguably the most inflammatory and aggressive word in the English language, but nonetheless still defined by Oxford and Webster alike as a term for a black person.

I am heterosexual and married, Trollio, since you seem to be asking, so I could legally sue for libel/slander, if I chose to.   That said, I'll speak out against anti-homosexual bigotry in and of itself. Homosexuals and lesbians are traditionally the first scapegoats that Fascist regimes, e.g. that of President George W. Bush, use to rile up public support for repressive policies.  That's where Fascists start, before choosing the next group to persecute.

Traditionally, Europe, in the most barbaric phases of its history, used burning faggots -- bundles of sticks -- to execute those who didn't conform to society's norms, including, but not limited to, homosexuals and lesbians.  I've lived in countries where people were executed on suspicion of being gay, lesbian, or suspected of opposing those in power.

My critique of vile LA DA Steve Cooley is against his crimes against humanity -- not his private preferences; whatever they are, I couldn't care less -- namely his anti-American attack against democracy, through persecuting American whistle-blower folk-hero Stephen Heller who bravely acted to help protect America's democracy.

Stephen Heller, and election offiicials  Bruce Funk and Ion Sancho, who all went through hell to protect America's democracy against fascist-controlled vote-rigging machines, will be speaking on Wednesay May 2, at 8:00 pm, on [a href="http://www.opednews.com/articles/genera_press_re_070430_voice_of_the_voters_3a.htm"]Voice of the Voters[/a]
