This YouTube clip purports to be footage of Bill Gates being grilled by US government anti-trust lawyers in 1998 -- though you don't really get a clear look at his face, but that autistic rocking is pretty characteristic. The video closes with a come-on to get a multi-DVD set of the entire deposition.

The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

Or he could just be davening. (special Lakota code word for praying)

That rocking motion is called a stim.

I have a stim where I vibrate my foot like I've had too much coffee. Then I drink a lot of coffee because I like the taste and also to have an alibi should anyone notice my vibrating foot.

lol. It's ironic because I never go out anywhere long enough for people to notice. Except when I go to my favorite coffee house, in which case they understand.

curses!

I've read speculations that Bill Gates may be high-functioning autistic.  So was great renaissance artist Michelangleo, according to some autism experts.  Who knows.

I watched the video. Bill Gates really does rock back and forth as autistic people commonly do. Truly bizarre.

I respect and admire Bill Gates, irrespective of whether he may or may not be a high-functioning autistic.
