But there are soo many beers to choose from.

I like SA and I like almost any raspberry ale or hefeweizen. I don't like the porters, stouts, etc.
The real trouble with reality is that there's no background music.

One of my all  time faves. Flying Dog Pale Ale, from Denver. The Cascade hops really make it. Give this stuff to people and they just gulp it. Hard to stop drinking this stuff. Well, it's easy now, since it's no longer available in B.C. They brought it in a couple of years ago or so, in anticipation of a beer strike.

I like Full Sail Pale Ale, from Hood River, Oregon. It's not too fancy or anything, just a damn good beer.

It helped in the early days to fix the calendar, and it caused Egyptian priests to chronicle ecplipses with such care that in time they were able to predict them. These two services I am prepared to acknowledge, but I do not know of any others

soapbox, you're a discerning consumer. Future Canuck, are you familiar with another Oregonian brew known as Dead Guy Ale? I haven't had the Full Sail yet. Looking forward.

Future Canadian

I have seen Dead Guy Ale around, but haven't tried it. I don't drink it that often, so when I do I'm a bit overwhelmed by the beer selection here in the great Northwest.

It's so bitter you can't drink more than a few dozen before the bitterness starts to get to you. But it's clean rich, beautiful! Can't get it up here anymore dammit!

P.C.

I don't have a favourite beer, because I never acquired a taste for beer. (rats)

BUT these are my favourite Beer Commercials !!!!

Wow, I just watched a couple of those PC. Thanks for teh link! Isn't that Devandra Barnhart singing?

New Belgium is a way cool company, too. They get all their power through a wind farm, use solar power, do steam recapture, the whole nine yards. Beer's good, too.

Bought a bottle of this once, and a bottle of See Ya Later Chardonnay. Cashier says, "Well, it was nice knowing you, sir."
