Did you have to shake the ball?

I think it was another kid actor who played the kid who can see dead people.

Yes, like as in the movie........I think the ability is referred to as the third eye

Oh....I think you're right 49er.  I'm not so good at that stuff.....lol  [img style="CURSOR: pointer" onclick=url(this.src); src="http://www.cheesebuerger.de/images/smilie/liebe/g038.gif" border=0]

I believe that there are people who have certain  powers that others don't - for instance, it was only several years ago that I discovered that other people could actually think in colour.

Gophie ?  You don't think in colour ?  I've heard of people who don't dream in colour....but I've never heard of someone who doesn't think in colour.  [img onclick="selecte('nervous.gif');" alt=emoticon src="http://www.pushupstairs.com/images/emoticon/blehnet/nervous.gif" border=0]

I can't even imagine how that would be possible.   If you thought of a carrot, wouldn't your subconscious fill in the blank involuntarily ?

No, I just can't visualise colours - I remember what colour things look like, but I can't 'see' them in my mind...without a great deal of effort which usually ends up in giving me a headache. Trying to put TWO colours together in my mind is a 100% impossibilty.
