Wow! Looks like a good line-up of folks for the 2008 PNE. Anyone going?

A summer full of music. From the classic sounds of Trooper, to Billy Ray Cyrus, to Sheena Easton and the youthful energy of Vanessa Hudgens; from the timeless PNE icon Nearly Neil, to the much loved sounds of Spirit of the West to Air Supply, just to name a few, the Summer Night Concerts promise to keep you singing and dancing into the night. With a different show each night, you'll want to keep coming back for more. Concert access is included with each Fair Gate Admission ticket.

*jumps up and down* Can't wait for Billy Ray Cyrus. lol

Seriously, I'd be psyched about Trooper, Glass Tiger, 54-40 or Spirit of the West.

Lil Me

Don't know if I will make it to the PNE due to claustrophobia issues in crowds.

I might go to Chiliwack. No idea who they are, but I love the name Chiliwack.

Me too Lil Me.  There isn't much they did that wasn't great !   Raise a Little Hell....Boys in the Bright White Sportscar....Santa Maria....General Hand Grenade.....3 Dressed Up as a 9......good ol tunes !

Hi P.C.!
Oh, Chilliwack! I didn't notice that the first time.
SD- there must be a Chilliwack song on YouTube.  Great Vancouver band from the early 80s.

Cool. It's on the 30th which is the last day of the two days of orientation, so I bet I can convince friends to go along or do something. I want to take advantage of Vancouver, live a college life. Instead of going out to eat and spending 20 something, I can go to concert events, plus I could always bring a girl to these things...

I think I have a Trooper cassette around here somewhere.     Hot Shots......

P.C. that just gave me the greatest idea for a future party at SD's place. Oh this will be wild, a Canadian rock music only party! Sweet, this would be huge, cuz Canadian music is all the rage nowadays. Hot diggity!

oooo...they have some good ones that I'd be interested to see but I too don't like the crowd much.  I went once last year and that was it.

P.C.

I'm with Lil Me also on the crowd clausterphobia.  It's not an issue of just not liking it....it kinda freaks me out.

You can get into the PNE for $12 if you buy your ticket at 7-11, Safeway or Shopper's Drug Mart.
