I'm from Vancouver and I'm going up to Seattle in the next couple of weeks.  What are the best stores down there?  My faves in Vancouver is Aritzia, Plenty and Vivid.

Thanks in advance for any help.

There was a thread in here somewhere on the best places to shop in Seattle, but can't seem to find it.

Most people on here are also from Vancouver, but many have shopped there....but also many are away this weekend.

Not too much help, was I.

You would probably enjoy any of the malls in Seattle....like Southcenter.

Good selection of stores, easy to find without driving downtown.

 Better deals at the Outlet

That's my fave....South Center.  (although I can never remember the name until someone says it)  That place goes on forever.

Go to the Premium Outlets. Holy molly! Tons to buy and cheap! cheap! cheap!

Pike Place is awesome for flowers.

Edit:  Well....just checked it out closer.  There's not a LOT of info there.  I know there's another thread, but the 'search' is......um.....well it's not great.

Just checked that old thread :)
The first page or two is about shopping...before it digresses into who knows what... :)

Thanks everyone for all the information.  Greatly appreciated. :)

A couple more questions... is South Centre better than Pacific Place?

&&& is Victoria Secret actually really good?  They have so much on their web site but I can't tell if it's awesome.  We have La Senza here and IMO I find it sort of over-rated.

Also, what is the best spa in Seattle?  I would like to go to one.

Thanks again for all your input.

I'm not a shopper. Although I somehow spent 30 bucks on socks.

Although I do like walking the premium outlets, although it involves myself marvelling at the outdoor mall design which I'm a huge fan of, imagining how I'd invision communities like the mall.  This then leads me to cracking jokes about closed malls and how its the downfall of society (nobody likes 1980s style closed in malls anymore, people like to be outside now, finally). lol Seriously though, premium outlets you're outside, walking around, breathing air, no headache. Metrotown, 10,000 people, can't breathe, headache.

Another great outdoor mall 'community' is in downtown Salt Lake City. Everybody is now finally got their heads on straight and is trying to copy old style Europe shopping or pre-world war II community layouts where you walk everywhere.

I probably wrote something like that, in the shopping thread. ;)

[hr style="width: 100%; height: 2px;"]Hi lalala -

I can offer some input on this question.  I think Victoria Secret owns La Senza (or maybe the other way around) because I've seen a few things at LaSenza that I've seen at VS.  Honestly, I don't like the quality at these two stores but VS seems to have more selection than LaS.

Their body sprays smells nice though. :)

I haven't been to Pacific Place in years....if I'm even thinking about the right mall.  The really upscale one near the monorail station downtown?

The Victoria's Secret store doesn't have the clothing that the catalog/website have- just the lingerie and some loungewear.  But...better quality than La Senza IMHO.

Thanks for the info purelife and Lil Me.

Does VS have a good selection for bikinis though?  That's the reason why I would like to go there.  Probably for PJ's and lounge wear too.

What's the best place to buy Seven's and Citizen jeans?  The only stores I see is Nordstroms and Barneys.  I thought they may be more reasonable than Aritzia in Vancouver.

Also, is there a good place for sunglasses (brand names that are nicely discounted) in Seattle?

Any good spas there?  Seriously, I just don't know where to start.

Sorry for all the questions. :(

Lil Me

No, the VS stores don't have swimwear.
