yeah because they're the ones that make the shows and get paid nothing from the studios.
the writers are the servers in los angeles.

But it could affect everything else.

I'm just disappointed because I was hoping to meet my hero- David James Elliott aka Lt. Commander Harmon Rabb Jr..
 He was filming in Vancouver/Squamish.

I don't know if it's true but I heard that the last contract gave them  $.04 on every DVD sold and they just want to double it to $.08.  Now if that's the case they aren't fighting of much.

P.C.

The thing is, I know nothing about this stuff.  But I liken it to an artist wanting to be compensated everytime someone looks at one of their paintings.

I'd like to know what a writer gets for writing a half hour sitcom.

I saw some filming yesterday and movie crew/sets this morning.  I think Smallville is filming in New West, at their usual place.

Totally off topic, Prison Break is damn hawt to watch, especially that main character, Michael guy!  OMG Sweat on ME!!!

Russ

I have heard of this Smallville... whats it about?

Its filmed here in new west?

I remember some friends talking about a show called smallville, so I guess its popular.

purelife- you did indeed see the film crews.  I heard today that filming can continue until they run out of scripts.  Most shows may be able to continue for a few months.  Talk shows etc. will be showing re-runs starting now.
