OK. I took these pictures and in the name of shameless promo of my website, I give you spicy okra kheema.

Presenting *drum roll*   [UL] [LI]300g okra (ladies fingers) - sliced thin  [LI]2 onions (chopped fine)  [LI]2 green chillies (chopped fine)  [LI]2 clovs garlic (chopped fine)  [LI]5 tbsp vegetable oil  [LI]1 tsp kunyit or turmeric powder  [LI]2 tsp chilli powder  [LI]1 tsp ketumbar or coriander powder  [LI]1/2 tsp jintan puteh or cumin powder  [LI]juice of 1 lime  [LI]2 large tomatoes (chopped rough)  [LI]salt to taste [/LI][/UL]

I blend the onion, green chillies and garlic in my mini chopper.

Then I stir-fry the stuff in a pan with oil till the onions become soft

Then I added the spice (should have cut down on the chilli) - turmeric, coriander, cumin and chilli powder.

I then add in the okra and tomatoes. Delicious! Serve with rice.
