Family dog saves kids from black bear

A family dog, Rottweiller, held a black bear at bay while four kids were stuck up in their treehouse when a bear wandered into their yard in British Properties. [A href="vny!://www.virtualvancouver.com/news/news-54.html"]Full news story[/A]. The bear was trying to get to the family's plum tree. In the end the bear got some plums and then left after being scared off by the dog and the kid's mom.

  That is one great dog... wish I had a brave and courageous dog like that.

Poor bear, must be hungry and have to eat as much as possible to pass through winter. And what he founds ? Suburbs...

nobody cares about open spaces. Won't be too much longer most of the Eastern US will look like Europe no open spaces.

That should probably re-name the dog to Killer and not Pee Weenie. Gee, if a black bear were to come up to us, our dog would probably run under my skirt, the little coward. (but bless his wee heart)
