Ah ok, those little ferries. I get it, interesting.. didnt think of them like that. How much does it cost for one of those? I take it then arent part of the Transdink system.

Ive done that run up false creek a few times in my boat. We launched right by the maritime museum, did a run up around Stanley Park then ripped up right to the end of Indian Arm right by the old Wigwam Inn, after we came back we went up False creek. So many idiots in boats up there that dont have a clue what they are doing, add to that all the useless squaters.. its pretty bad.

Cool.  Morning Russ.

Do you ever launch in the Fraser and go up to Pitt Lake?

I saw those Ferries on Extra once.  The show interview Allison Mack and Kristin Kreuk while they toured Vancouver and Kristin was driving one of those things even though she didn't have a driver's licence apparently.

Hey gutten morgen to you too. Yeah, we have done that a number of times, launch at Macdonald park in ditchmond and go all the way up north arm past new west up to pitt lake.

We tend to cruise at 35 miles an hour and do the round trip in four hours. We did it once in little over two hours but burned 130 litres of 94.. too expensive lol.

We go wakeboarding and waterskiing lots up near pitt lake, right before it theres a slough that widens and is kinda sheltered from the wind so everyone does it there.. pitt lake is too shallow in parts and the rest gets too rough cause of the wind. When we do that we launch behind New West and do a ten minute run up there, not worth it to launch at pitt lake.. too busy and costs alot more.

Im trying to picture where this is? Sure! lol, will be a while until we do it again.. boats is parked right now. we might take it out this next weekend as a standyby as we are testing another buddies boat that he put a new engine in.

After that its out until the summer.. we are taking the old engine out and putting in a bigger engine. Not quite fast enough.. its only 50 miles an hour flat out with 6 people in it.

It's just past the Port Mann bridge when you go up the Pitt.  It's where the tug boat docks are.  Great pub.  Wednesday is steak night.
