I've been working on grad apps, term papers from last term and recovering from the flu for the past week.
It's been a crazy couple of months of darting back and forth between four cities in two countries while still remembering I'm in school. February or March might have another wild globe trotting 'long weekend.'

This morning a woman standing in front of me in a shop wanted to fill in a form for a loyalty cad. After being given the form she said she was unable to do it as she didn't know her address. She followed this up by saying that she would have to go home to find out what it was. Thinks: if she didn't know her address, how would she be able to go back to where she lives?

A friend used to complain that she drove to work so she could afford to buy gas to...drive to work.

I used to do that, but not anymore. About 10 years ago I shucked all that stuff and basically quit the workforce so I could stay home and spend more time with my son. It wasn't easy, but I'm glad I did it.

However, now I'm pretty much ruined for any kind of office job, lol. I probably wouldn't last a week before I did or said something that would result in my being fired like a cannon.
