The "name-day", i.e. the day on which a saint bearing a person's name is commemorated, is important in Poland, and is celebrated like a birthday. The program, given a date, will display what people have their "name-days" on that day. Given a name, it will display when that name has its name-day(s). Since people in Poland like to send little "mini-poems", a selection of these is included[font style="font-family: Verdana;" size="2"].
