Man, what can I say? He should be in the Guiness Book Of World Records. I'm not sure for what, but he must beat the pants off of  some category...

Unknown Hinson: Unusual Singer, Unknown Origins

His fledgling musical career was cut short in 1963, when Hinson was accused of a number of horrific crimes — the charges included murder (three counts), armed robbery (two counts), 19 paternity suits, grand larceny, assault with a deadly weapon (28 counts), spousal abuse (he was never married), grave robbing, vampirism, 54 traffic violations including hit and run, DWI, reckless driving, speeding, expired plates and driving without a license, and copyright infringement.    [a href="vny!://www.commercialappeal.com/mca/music/article/0,1426,MCA_505_5256364,00.html"][link][/a]

That's absolutely hilarious.  Small wonder I've never heard of him.  I'd NEVER listen to someone who would commit copyright infringement.

The driving without a license bothered me a bit, but I'm (almost) sure he didn't mean to do it.

You can be charged for vampirism?? Ack. I better store away my fangs.
Always end the name of your child with a vowel, so that when you yell the name will carry.

Maybe he was indulging in vampirism while acquiring those paternity suits.  Combining hobbies.
