2 suggestions before the chat room can take off in a big way:



- Put a link somewhere on the board page for people like myself who access the board directly. I never look at the "home page" until Lise pointed it out. (For me home page is where the board is)



- There should be an equally visible "who's in the chat room right now?" type of display. That'll tell instantly if there's anyone there, who's there, and how many people...
