Women talk three times as much as men, says study

Well, I don't think it's new....seen it for years.  Maybe the woman knows she has put herself in a position to communicate on a level that is more comfortable (according to the study) for the man.

  I always hear that women have the best conversations with their hubby's when they are travelling in a car.  Aside from the fact that they have a captive audience, they are also in the 'male x male' position.

 hmm that could be. Makes sense. I tend to talk more in the 'male x male' situation. Although when I'm comfortable with people I'm just as goofy/talkitive in the across from each other situation.
