Plot Summary: In "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," Harry returns for his fifth year of study at Hogwarts and discovers that much of the wizarding community has been denied the truth about the teenager's recent encounter with the evil Lord Voldemort. Fearing that Hogwarts' venerable Headmaster, Albus Dumbledore, is lying about Voldemort's return in order to undermine his power and take his job, the Minister for Magic, Cornelius Fudge, appoints a new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher to keep watch over Dumbledore and the Hogwarts students. But Professor Dolores Umbridge's Ministry-approved course of defensive magic leaves the young wizards woefully unprepared to defend themselves against the dark forces threatening them and the entire wizarding community, so at the prompting of his friends Hermione and Ron, Harry takes matters into his own hands. Meeting secretly with a small group of students who name themselves "Dumbledore's Army," Harry teaches them how to defend themselves against the Dark Arts, preparing the courageous young wizards for the extraordinary battle that lies ahead.

Russ yes!

Are you serious? This is the FIFTH movie already? wow, Ive only seen and know about two.

Lise

Yep. 6 books in total, 5th to make the movie and another one is in production already. J.K. Rowling is working on the 7th and final book.

Yup Harry's a goner. Why? Because she said she was doing 7 books and if Harry doesn't go 6ft under then it gives her incentive to write more books. (although scholastic might not want her to off him because if she wrote more books that = more money for the publisher)

Well, you can't write any more after Harry leaves school, can you? I mean, the whole series was based on Hogswath and the school environment.

I want Ron and Hermonine to get together. Gawd! Those two need to have some lovin' action going.

Lise

Harry? He lost it with Cho Chang. She was all lovey dovey to him and he made no move. In the seventh book, he goes out with someone else. I'm not going to spoil it for you. Wait and see.

he's not going to go out with her, he clearly says at the end of 6th that he and blank aren't going to make it as a couple because he doesn't want to see her get killed and so on.

Author J.K. Rowling's final Harry Potter book finally gets a title

NEW YORK (AP) - We now have a title for Harry Potter VII and if you want to find out for yourself, visit J.K. Rowling's website and play a little game of hangman.

Rowling's U.S. publisher, Scholastic, Inc., released a brief statement Thursday announcing the name of the world's most anticipated children's book, the finale to her phenomenally popular, seven-book fantasy series.

No publication date or other details were offered. Rowling is still working on the book, she wrote on her website in an entry posted early Thursday.

"I'm now writing scenes that have been planned, in some cases, for a dozen years or even more," she wrote. "I don't think anyone who has not been in a similar situation can possibly know how this feels: I am alternately elated and overwrought. I both want, and don't want, to finish this book (don't worry, I will.)"

She gave no new clues about what will happen in the book. Previously she has said two characters will die and hinted Harry might not survive.

Meanwhile, she set up a little game for her Potter fans.

If you go to her home page, click on the eraser and you will be taken to a room where you will see a window, a door and a mirror.

In the mirror, you will see a hallway. Click on the farthest doorknob and look for the Christmas tree. Then click on the centre of the door next to the mirror and a wreath appears. Then click on the top of the mirror and you will see a garland.

Look for a cobweb next to the door. Click on it, and it will disappear. Now, look at the chimes in the window. Click on the second chime to the right, and hold it down. The chime will turn into the key, which opens the door. Click on the wrapped gift behind the door, then click on it again and figure out the title yourself by playing a game of hangman.

Or, you can just take Scholastic's word for it. The publisher says the title of the book is "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows."

The Harry Potter books have sold more than 300 million copies and have been translated into 63 languages.
