These are AMAZING.  I remember purelife had mentioned using them, but I finally got some, and I am totally impressed.  I can't believe how fresh the produce remains when kept in these bags.  They're not terribly cheap, but I know for sure, I won't be throwing out slimy produce any more.  That in itself has got to be a major savings. (plus I HATE throwing out food !!!)  ( also they are reusable)

Good tip, P.C.  Thanks.  Did you need to order them from tv?
I have some Tupperware brand containers that do the same thing.
But most of the time we manage to use our veggies before they turn (damn preservatives, I guess...).

Sawdust got them at that place called ShowTime.  It carries all the 'as seen on TV' crap.  I was skeptical, but was convinced of their effectiveness within the week.

I find that with just the two of us, we don't often go through everything before it's past its best.  I'm constantly throwing out green onions.  They don't seem to last more than a couple days.  The ones in the bag now, are squeaky fresh.

Oh yeah, I love those stores.  Chia pets, salad shooters, massage chairs.
Mind you, I've never bought anything there.
Actually, I've never ordered anything from tv either.

Couple years ago, my dad wanted the tv tray that folds in 18 different directions.  I ordered it off the internet.

I never have either.  But I'm sure glad we tried these.

lol that reminds me that ad about the big magnifying screen you could put in front of your TV to have the illusion that you have a big screen TV... how pathetic...

LOL...since they sell v i a g r a they might as well sell something that makes the tv look bigger

EDIT:  hm, I noticed that you can't type that v word in here....that's interesting.  It gets erased or replaced with the 3 dots automatically.

When i clicked on this post i thought I had clicked on the joke thread - there is certainly some potential for joke fodder here "green bags"  but alas it is a good deal not a joke.
