This is a webpage about the "777 Tower" in Los Angeles on a site with much information about particular architectural features in L.A.
You will see on top of the webpage a bannerlike picture of the L.A. skyline.

Do you notice the color of the sky in that picture ? It's not blue or even grey, and there are no clouds. It's a greyish brown and it looks like a heavy brown cloud is hanging over the city. The sun looks like this screen of pollution obstructing it's light. It could also be an evening view with the moon but then there is still this brown fog hanging over the city.
Usually pictures of cities such as this one display a blue sky and a brilliant sun.
Why did they do it this way ? Is it meant to be an artistic rendering of the polluted state of the city ?
Please note I am not saying this is bad. It's a bit strange.
