It's going to be a full moon tonight. We, Chinese, celebrate the festival tonight with lanterns and mooncakes.

It's tonight!  Oh sh*t.  I didn't know that.

Hmmm, time to head over to my mom's this weekend so that I can get some moon cakes...mmmm....yummy.

Btw, those mooncakes are damn expensive.  A little piece is like $7.00.

Yup, it sure is.  Do you have any chinese markets around you?

nope not that I know of, very few asians around here maybe like 5,000 max in a 2.5 million metro area.

they are expensive!!!!!!  I like the ones with the nuts but without the egg york.  I usually pick up several boxes when they go on sale after the festival

How do you make them? Maybe I could try to make some. I like to cook and bake things.

Yeah, they're so expensive.  I haven't eaten any yet but I think that I may just go to Richmond and buy sone when they're cheaper.  I don't know why they are so damn expensive.  sucks!

Yes! Mooncakes! Happy Moon Festival! Also Navrarti (Hindu) and Sukkot (Jewish) this week too. A good time for eating all over the world.
