Tornado blew my cousins house away

House completely gone. Thank God the farm wasn't destroyed it just missed it. Will go down on Sunday take pics.

Hey man! I just seen a thing about the crazy weather in the southern USA on local news up here, just minutes ago. Its all that warm Canadian air heading back south and colliding with cooler air.

Yeah that was the storm. Going down there tomorrow. Got grandma upset because I couldn't stop laughing about what my cousin said. He said the news crews just came over and put a micro phone in my aunts face and asked "how do you feel?" in front of her. My cousin then went off and I since then can't get the picture of my aunt on tv out of my head.

  Some farm house near the farm. The farm damage that my family suffered is shocking.

  That was a shed. A giant one. It just dissapeared.

That was a giant grain bin. In the weirdest thing ever the base of the foundation is intact. The pieces of sheet metal out in the field was part of this bin.

  My cousins house, whats left of it. First thing the tornado hit when it came across the river was his house.

What a horrible mess!!  There were no injuries to the occupants?  I'd be terrified to live in a place that has tornados or hurricanes.  Were they insured?

My cousins were insured. My cousin was also on his way home from the shop (2 miles away) when this happend. His roomate just left to go to work and the other roomate was coming home. phew.

  The only injury happend when A guy in his mobile home was on the phone to a family member saying this was the worst storm he'd ever seen, then static, the house was picked up and thrown. He was okay walked out of the home but suffered broken collar bone, leg, arm and required 200 stitches.

  My uncle who works for the power company was driving down the highway when this happend his truck got picked up of the ground for a couple seconds. But of course when his wife told my other uncle who has had a long standing feud with his younger brother just looked like he didn't care. lol.

  It missed the farm by a mile but if it had it the farm, oh gosh I don't want to think what would have happend.

OMG, Sportsdude.  That's AWFUL !!!  At the very least, I'm glad they're OK.
